About BlackOut
BlackOut is Tufts’ premier all-male step team. Founded in 2004, BlackOut performs and competes at events across the Northeast, mostly recently achieving 4th place at World of Dance Boston and qualifying for World of Dance Finals. Prior to that triumph they became national champions at the inaugral NCPA National Step Championship in 2020.
They are a dynamic and innovative group of steppers who captivate audiences under the mission of “One Sight, One Sound.” Their steps and skits, which incorporate and fuse elements of dance, strolling, and improvised narratives, are meant to provide viewers with entertainment, information, and inspiration.
