Tufts University’s team Envy came close to running away with it all at the NCPA National Step Championships at the historical Apollo Theater by storm as they earned 2nd place and All-American honors alongside becoming the NCPA East Region Champions. The team won $2,500 in prize money and donated 20% of it to 6 organizations that benefit Harlem youth.

About Envy
ENVY is an illustrious female step team from Tufts University. They were founded in 2002 by Bettina James and just recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. They currently have 12 active members on the team and in recent years have won competitions such as Harvard’s Apollo Night, UAlbany’s March Madness Competition, and more. As a team they work hard to be innovative, entertaining, and elegant. They express themselves through rhythmic movement, powerful beats, and intense facial expressions. They absolutely love what they do and consider it their responsibility to be entertaining and to share the art of stepping with the people around them.
